10th Annual Child Placement
Conference
November 17-19, 2009
The Classic Center
Athens, Georgia
On behalf of the
conference planning partners, we would like to invite you to join us
for the the 2009 Child Placement Conference! A planning committee, with
representatives from all aspects of the child welfare system have
put together plenary sessions and workshops designed to provide you
with the latest information on trends, policies and practice in
child welfare in Georgia. These skill building sessions will provide
you with the resources, education, training and networking needed to
improve outcomes for the children and families you serve.
There will be a
resource fair, featuring over 40 exhibitors, representing
organizations that provide services to at-risk children and families
or the agencies that serve them. Participating vendors offer a
wealth of information and resources to support you in your work.
Most importantly,
come take advantage of an opportunity to network with your
colleagues in other areas of the child welfare system to develop a
new perspective on how we can work together to improve outcomes for
children.
We hope you will be
able to join us in this important effort to help Georgia’s children
and families reach their full potential. We thank you for all you do
and we look forward to seeing you in Athens!
